Gold Beach

1.) Cedar bend Golf Course - This 9-hole mentally engaging course features 3,000 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The entire course is a par-72 measuring from 5,231 yards to 6,288 yards long. In general, the course has plenty of challenge for the best golfers, but also plenty of forgiveness for people new to the game. Water comes into play on almost every hole. The beautiful Cedar Fork Creek which golfers must cross on several of the holes, meanders through the course. It's clear waters and smooth stone base make it look inviting on hot summer days.

Gold Hill

1.) Laurel Hill Golf Course - Laurel Hill has been compared to a regulation course with the drives removed. The four par-4s are in the 275-300 yard range, but because of the tree-lined doglegs they require two good iron shots to reach the green (as far as we know, no one has ever driven any of them from the tee). The ninth hole has a pond in the dogleg, and an extremely accurate layup is needed to set up a good second shot. Of the par-threes, the second and third holes are guarded on the left by a creek in a steep ravine banked with blackberries, and the fifth and sixth holes have relatively small greens, the latter having a tricky slope.

Even though the terrain is flat and easy to walk, there are ponds coming into play on eight holes, adding to the course's difficulty level. The signature hole is #6, a 400-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot to a green that is guarded by a pond. This course is home to an abundance of wildlife. The 2,612-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 35.1 and slope of 127.
