Ashland

1.) Oak Knoll Golf Course - This course was built on gently rolling terrain and it has small but excellent greens. The design includes a couple of sand bunkers and a lot of hills. There are also about 100 trees that can alter your shots. The signature hole is #3, a 449-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot uphill and into the wind. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

1.) Salmon Run Golf and Resort - No two holes are alike and many offer spectacular views from elevated tees and greens. - 3.5 miles inland means sunny conditions when the coast is foggy! Signature Hole - #4: The Lombard Street Hole is a little touch of San Francisco here at Salmon Run. With a beautiful rock-lined cart path that traverses to a 150 -foot elevation to the top tee, the course has have what may be the "crookedest little cart path in the world." The view from this spectacular 164-yard par three rivals that of any you may have ever seen. The approach shot is just as exciting with a 100-foot descent to a boulder island green surrounded by the always-engulfing lake and wetland area. Hitting this green will be a thrill. Seven tees from 111 yards to 164 yards will provide every golfer of all abilities the chance to earn a birdie opportunity. Golf Digest ranked this course as one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Oregon. Salmon Run's name originates from the Chetco River, which runs alongside this course and is one of the largest salmon spawning rivers in the country. During spawning season, hundreds of fish can routinely be seen making their way upstream. Fearless golfers only need apply.

Robert Trent Jones, Jr. created this spectacular layout with natural terrain and four sets of tees ranging from the green tees at 5091yards to the black tees at 7099 yards, creating plenty of interest, and making this course challenging for all levels of ability. Gold Hill

1.) Laurel Hill Golf Course - Laurel Hill has been compared to a regulation course with the drives removed. The four par-4s are in the 275-300 yard range, but because of the tree-lined doglegs they require two good iron shots to reach the green (as far as we know, no one has ever driven any of them from the tee). The ninth hole has a pond in the dogleg, and an extremely accurate layup is needed to set up a good second shot. Of the par-threes, the second and third holes are guarded on the left by a creek in a steep ravine banked with blackberries, and the fifth and sixth holes have relatively small greens, the latter having a tricky slope.
